Fun Facts

Hi! My name is Wanning Wang (you can call me Alisa). I’m a senior at the University of Delaware, majoring in Statistics with minors in Business Administration and Business Analytics. I’m originally from China and am fluent in both Chinese and English, so I’m also happy to help students who want to learn or practice Chinese.

I enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects like math, statistics, and Chinese by breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. I have experience tutoring algebra, precalculus, and introductory statistics, and I work with students to strengthen both problem-solving skills and conceptual understanding. My goal is not only to help you solve the problem in front of you, but also to help you develop the skills to approach similar problems independently.

Outside of academics, I enjoy drawing, painting, playing piano, listening to music, and traveling. I’m patient, supportive, and happy to adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning style.
